Young Talents

The German Region of the International Biometric Society assigns two young talent awards each year: the Gustav Adolf Lienert Award and the Bernd Streitberg Award.

The IBS-DR Executive and Advisory Board decide on the laureates and their ranking, if required, on the basis of the nominations presented by a reviewer committee.

The nominated award winners will be invited to give a lecture at the Biometric Colloquium, where the award will be officially handed over. Furthermore, each laureate will be invited to publish their awarded work in the "Biometrical Journal".
